In autumn 2017, the Caterpillar Demonstration and Learning Center in Malaga has become the epicentre of one of the most important product launches in the machine manufacturer's history. The reveal show on the evening before the product presentation is a superlative multimedia show: After just four months of intense planning and preparation, an open-air performance will take place - with projection mapping on an outdoor space spanning 4,500 m2. A total of 14 high-performance projectors with a total output of over 280,000 Ansi lumens combine to create an amazing spectacle with a high-resolution 5k media production. A 12m large cube serves as a projection screen and covering for the new generation of excavators. The 16-minute evening show takes the audience through three chapters in the world of Caterpillar, tracing the company's development from its early days at the beginning of the 20th century to the latest challenges in this era of digital transformation. The day of the actual product launch is all about providing personal and in-depth information. In addition to classic presentations and workshops, Cat product and technology experts demonstrate the most important USPs of this new product range using exhibits and presentations designed specifically for the occasion.
